LYCOS I

The Wolven Kayknights of Lycos 1 built a society founded on warfare and the hunt. Lycos 1 roughly the size of Jupiter has intense gravitational force which caused it's native inhabitants the Wolven to posess strength unmatched by the majority of carbon based species in the know galaxies. Lycos 1 also has the distinction of being the most mineral rich planet in the know galaxies as well. Every precious metal as well as every crude form of fuel can be found on and extracted from the planet. The most sought after resource on Lycos 1 are the planet's energy crystals. A single energy crystal weighing an ounce can power a star cruiser. Tyrant rulers ignored the warnings of Kayknight scientists and hunted every viable species that sustained the Wolven into extinction. The Wolven without a food source lure would be plunderers hoping for riches to Lycos 1 and to their doom. The Wolven fight one another each in rival factions in a blight of thousands of years referred to as the Pelt Wars.

Lycos II

The Wolven pups that landed on Lycos 2 in the Arc grew and established a thriving society. The Wolven of Lycos 2 established a society that divided into three factions. The followers of the many gods, the adherents of the scientific faith and the believers of the One God. These three factions constantly at odds fought until Lycos 2 was eventually destroyed. The three factions took their fight to the stars escaping the planet's obliteration. The adherents of the scientific faith prevailed and encountered Earth in their quest for a new home. The Wolven scientists adopting a new approach decided to reverse engineer their genetics so that they could appear human and secure a sustainable food source. The Wolven scientists miscalculated not accounting for the moon's effect on their physiology.
